Transform from Business Owner to Savvy Financial Manager in Three Sessions

Are you running your Detroit small business or nonprofit without formal financial training? Stop outsourcing your finances or learning everything the hard way! Our CFO Boot Camp equips you with the essential skills to build a financially strong organization, with no accounting degree required. Using a fictional food truck as a case study, you will learn key financial concepts that you can apply to your business.

What You’ll Master:

  • How to set up accounting systems that work for YOUR business
  • Interpreting financial statements with confidence (and spotting red flags before they become problems)
  • Creating financial projections that unlock growth opportunities
  • Developing processes that attract investors and lenders

Transform from bookkeeper to strategic CFO in just three sessions!

Hands-On Learning That Sticks:

This isn’t just theory—you’ll implement real financial systems for your business during three powerful workshops:

  • November 6: Bookkeeping Basics (Be the Bookkeeper) – IN-PERSON SESSION
  • November 13: Understanding Your Business Numbers (Be the Accountant) – ZOOM SESSION
  • November 20: Planning for Growth and Funding (Be the CFO) – ZOOM SESSION

The Support Doesn’t End There:

At the end of each workshop, DNEP’s accounting consultants will meet with entrepreneurs one-on-one to answer questions and help you implement what you have learned.
