Led by DNEP’s trained Accounting Consultants from the Ross School of Business, this series will walk you through everything from setting up bookkeeping systems to preparing for outside investment. In Class 1, you will learn to set up a chart of accounts, reconcile transactions, and perform other bookkeeping tasks to create a financially sustainable business. In Class 2, you will learn how to think like an accountant: how to analyze your business' 3 financial statements and use that information to make decisions. In Class 3, you learn to leverage your financial data to tell your business' story to an investor and set a strategy for smart growth.
