Cathy Shakespeare

Cathy Shakespeare is the Associate Dean for Teaching and Learning and the Arthur Andersen Professor of Accounting at the Ross School of Business. She has been a DNEP supervising faculty member for Masters of Accounting students multiple times since 2017, and provides advice about the strategic direction of DNEP’s free accounting services.

Professor Shakespeare's research focuses on the effects of the financial reporting process on the decisions of managers and capital market participants. She received her PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002 and her BA from Dublin City University in Ireland in 1990.
